MIAA: Out-of-Season Coaching-

1. During the academic year, no member of your coaching staff may be involved
with out-of-season teams of any sport (except as permitted in #s 2 + 3 + 4, below).
During the summer only, members of your coaching staff may work with student-athletes
of any sport, other than their own (except as permitted in #s 2 + 3 + 4, below).

2. Coaches may observe competition of members or candidates of their high school team
anytime during the year.

3. A coach's high school candidates must constitute the minority of those taking part in any out-of-season sport's program, and competing on any team at any moment (e.g. no more than two basketball candidates could be on the court, on the same team, at any point during a game). In sports that are individual in nature,
or where competition involves a series of scoring events, candidates of that high school coach must be
fewer than 50% of those participating in the overall competition or program.

4. High school coaches who give private lessons may provide that service to their candidates provided that:
the opportunity for private lessons is open to all; the candidates fewer than 50% of those who are receiving private lessons from that coach; and candidates are given no special consideration.

MSTCA welcomes Cordele Photography's "OnLine Images" who will be taking pictures at all of our meets this winter. Look for the link to your picture on the MSTCA Meet Results page on our website or email Cordelephotography@mac.com. A great way to buy a picture of your athlete in action!

Entry applications for all MSTCA meets will not be mailed. They will only be available on this website.

MSTCA Meet Postponement Policy:
When a MSTCA scheduled meet is postponed the policy is to try to call it before school lets out on that Friday. All schools would be called to inform them of the postponement. If that is impossible then the coaches would be called personally to inform them of the change.
